Randall Krause is President and Co-Founder of ePlace Solutions, Inc., a company specializing in risk management and loss prevention. Prior to co-founding ePlace in 1999, Randy engaged in a national law practice and is a member of the bar in both California and Michigan. Additionally, Randy is the co-founder and current partner of Business Advisors Law Group, a boutique law firm providing advice on a wide range of topics to business clients throughout the United States.

Randy’s legal experience and expertise in various substantive areas of the law continues to serve as the basis for building effective risk management solutions for business organizations in five (5) countries around the globe. As the head of ePlace Solutions, Randy now builds and manages teams of attorneys and other subject matter experts to provide risk management services to tens of thousands of organizations, both large and small, in connection with
(a) employment discrimination/harassment and other alleged workplace wrongdoing,
(b) data privacy and security (focusing on prevention of e-mail fraud, data breaches and ransomware),
(c) corporate governance and preventing lawsuits against corporate directors and officers, and
(d) sexual misconduct involving at-risk populations.
Randy has been a member of many insurance-related organizations and frequent speaker on risk management and loss prevention strategies, especially related to insurance products focused on losses related to cyber/data breach, employment, D&O claims, and sexual misconduct. These include large insurance organizations and private organizations, Advisen, Professional Liability Underwriters Society (PLUS), Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS), the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California, among others.

Erich has an electrical engineering background and, prior to practicing in the privacy and data protection area, spent over 15 years as an intellectual property attorney litigating patent, trade secret and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act claims in federal court and routinely advised clients on intellectual property matters.
As the Vice President of Cybersecurity Risk Management, Erich is responsible for overall operations of ePlace’s cyber risk management services. ePlace’s cyber services minimize risks of cyber attacks by working closely with policyholders to develop and implement sound cybersecurity practices through comprehensive online educational and guidance materials and extensive employee training.

As Vice President of EPL Risk Management, Jena leads teams of HR Professionals and HR Analysts in providing comprehensive HR risk management services to thousands of organizations nationwide by delivering practical guidance for complicated legal and regulatory requirements under state and federal law. Areas of guidance cover the entirety of the employment relationship from hiring to discipline to termination, employee leave options, wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, workforce training, and more.
In 2018 and 2019, Jena was selected to the Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. She received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Jill Ostrove is a licensed attorney in California and the current VP of SML, EPL for Public Entities, and D&O Risk Management at ePlace Solutions.
Prior to joining ePlace, Jill gained significant experience in various areas of law, including civil, family, and as in-house corporate counsel. However, from a young age, her passion was firmly rooted in criminal prosecution.

As a prosecutor, Jill handled thousands of cases from investigation through filing charges, hearings, jury trials, and sentencing. Those cases encompassed, in part, domestic violence, child abuse, animal cruelty, sex offenses, and gang crimes.
In her current position at ePlace, Jill is responsible for developing thorough policies, procedures, and extensive training materials to prevent tragedies and to meet an organization’s risk management needs. She’s a sought-after keynote speaker and trains high-risk populations and organizations nationwide. Jill has trained audiences from pre-K students through the FBI, Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security. Jill speaks on such topics as A.I.; social media dangers and deepfakes; child sexual abuse; school and camp safety; domestic violence, sexual assault, recruitment strategies; general sexual and workplace violence prevention; and many others.
Since she was a child, Jill has always focused her attention on helping vulnerable and at-risk populations, whether that is volunteering on the Board of Directors for local nonprofits, working with victims of crime, helping the homeless population, or running her own nonprofit animal rescue.
