Randall J. Krause, Esq.

Randall J. Krause, Esq.


Randall Krause is President, CEO and Co-Founder of ePlace Solutions, Inc. Prior to co-founding ePlace in 1999, Randy engaged in a national law practice and is an active member of the bar in both California and Michigan.

Additionally, Randy is the co-founder and current partner of the Privacy Law Group, a boutique law firm that provides advice to clients throughout the United States on data privacy and security matters.

Randy’s experience in both data privacy and employment law matters includes leading teams of consultants to provide risk management services to thousands of organizations, both large and small, in connection with HIPAA, privacy, data breach prevention, risk assessments, incident response planning, data breach tabletop simulations, harassment/discrimination issues, wage and hour issues, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and more.

A frequent speaker on data privacy and employment topics, he regularly conducts data breach workshops for large entities across the nation. Randy is active in many industry associations, including the Professional Liability Underwriters Society, Risk & Insurance Management Society, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California, among others.

Elise Krause is a co-founder of ePlace Solutions and an attorney licensed in California. Elise has engaged in a national law practice in Michigan and California with an emphasis on health care, privacy and employment-related matters.

In her work as general (outside) counsel to one of California’s largest mental health care providers and long-term nursing home facilities, she regularly navigated complex areas of privacy and HIPAA compliance including representing her clients in HIPAA compliance audits. She litigated one of the first CAN-SPAM Act cases and has also counseled and litigated on behalf of large financial institutions, internet service providers and ATM/credit card processors.

In the employment law area, Elise has litigated well over 50 harassment cases, some through trial. Elise’s practice included both compliance and litigation in all aspects of federal and state employment laws, including harassment/discrimination issues, California wage and hour issues, Title VII issues, Family Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act, among other things. Elise drafted workers compensation laws in connection with her representation of California tribal casinos.

Elise graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1987. She is an active member of the California State Bar. Additionally, Elise holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Manya Mohoff

Vice President, Operations

Manya brings over 15 years of experience in the risk-management industry with ePlace Solutions. In her current role of Vice President of Operations, Manya provides operational leadership for the organization, manages the overall strategy in each practice area and identifies new areas for growth. Additionally, Manya supervises ePlace’s information, administrative and IT teams and is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources.

Manya is skilled in complex customer relationship management programs (CRM) which allow her team to provide individual attention to over 10,000 clients including the monthly distribution of over 120,000 emails. Her administrative team is well versed in programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional resulting in the best custom designed risk-management materials available.

Lara Forde, Esq., CIPP/US

Vice President, Risk Management

Lara Forde is a licensed attorney and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). Lara received her Bachelor of Business Administration and Juris Doctor from Baylor University and her Masters in Law from the University of Houston Law Center. During her legal practice, Lara handled high-stakes bad faith insurance litigation and managed a multimillion dollar litigation for a full-service international law firm.

Prior to joining ePlace Solutions, Lara managed a data breach response team and helped Fortune 500 organizations, governmental entities, healthcare providers and educational institutions successfully respond to high profile data breaches including many of the largest data breaches publicized to date. Lara worked closely with the affected organizations, counsel and carriers to develop and implement response plans designed to lessen the damaging effects from a data breach.

As the Vice President, Risk Management, Lara oversees the growth of ePlace’s cyber, EPL, and D&O practices. Lara works closely with insurance carriers and brokers to ensure that ePlace’s risk management solutions address policyholder and carrier’s changing needs.

Erich Falke, Esq., CIPP/US

Chief Information Security Officer & Cyber Risk Practice Manager

Erich Falke is a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania and Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).

Prior to joining ePlace, Erich was a partner in the Chambers-ranked Privacy and Data Protection department at Baker & Hostetler LLP. While at Baker & Hostetler, Erich counseled clients who had experienced a data security incident in the healthcare, financial, retail and professional fields.

Erich has an electrical engineering background and, prior to practicing in the privacy and data protection area, spent over 15 years as an intellectual property attorney litigating patent, trade secret and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act claims in federal court and routinely advised clients on intellectual property matters.

As the Cyber Risk Practice Manager, Erich is responsible for overall operations of ePlace’s cyber risk management services. ePlace’s cyber services minimize risks of cyber attacks by working closely with policyholders to develop and implement sound cybersecurity practices through comprehensive online educational and guidance materials and extensive employee training.

Violet Sullivan, Esq. CIPP/US

Violet Sullivan, Esq. CIPP/US

Cyber Security Consulting Practice Manager

Violet Sullivan is a licensed attorney in Texas and Pennsylvania and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), with a JD/MBA from Baylor University.

Prior to joining ePlace Solutions, Violet worked on the customer responses for some of the largest data breaches to date, including: Home Depot, Sony, and Anthem. Her experience in managing many large scale breach responses led to her expertise and proficiency in proactively preparing organizations for data security and privacy incidents.

At ePlace Solutions, Violet reviews and develops customized incident response plans to ensure organizations are prepared to respond efficiently and effectively to a data breach. Violet also provides consulting to improve internal coordination, and prepares, facilitates and leads customized table top simulations focused on "pressure-testing" an organization’s incident response procedures and protocols. In addition to consulting services, Violet also manages relationships with partners and develops unique services designed to suit an organization’s cyber risk management needs.

Suzzanne has over 15 years of marketing experience. Prior to joining ePlace, Suzzanne worked in the real estate, travel and tourism industries where she was responsible for launching their branding and social media strategies.

In her current role with ePlace, Suzzanne is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategy to support business growth and enhance brand awareness. Manages the planning and organizing of all marketing functions to achieve company objectives.

Suzzanne is also the manager of ePlace’s Call Center, responsible for all initial client outreach.

Bernice has over 20 years’ experience working in human resources. In her current role, Bernice provides HR guidance and advice to both small and large employers in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining ePlace in 2014, Bernice worked as an HR Manager for a research and development company, handling all aspects of HR from recruitment to benefits administration. Bernice graduated from California State University, Fresno and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resource (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
